Whitney Smith is a visionary leader and servant of Christ dedicated to uplifting and empowering youth through faith-based principles. Born in New Rochelle, New York, Whitney was instilled with strong Christian values by her parents, Dr. Brenda Smith and Rev. Dr. Gregory Smith. Grounded in faith and intellect, Whitney pursued a Bachelor of Mass Communication degree from Lincoln University in Oxford, PA, graduating in 1999.
Her professional journey began at Verizon Communications, where she showcased her management and sales prowess. Excelling in her roles, Whitney ascended to managerial positions at JP Morgan Chase Bank and Wells Fargo and Company, prominent players in the banking industry. Despite her success in Corporate America and earning an MBA from Long Island University, Whitney felt a higher calling on her life.
Answering the call to Christian-servitude, Whitney embarked on a journey of spiritual transformation. She enrolled in New York Theological Seminary, earning a Master of Divinity degree, and embraced her role as an Associate Minister at Mt. Hope African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church in White Plains, NY. Through her faith-driven mission, Whitney empowers women and inspires younger generations with her candid conversations and insightful relationships.
As an entrepreneur, author, and public speaker, Whitney has touched countless lives with her inspirational works. She is the founder of the Go Get It! Women's Empowerment Conference and has authored several books, including "Meeting the Authentic You," "Don’t Drop Out on You," and "The Evolution of a Healed Woman." Whitney's dedication to empowering others reflects her commitment to fulfilling God's purpose for her life.
A proud mother of a 21-year-old honor student and athlete, Avery Turton, Whitney leads by example, demonstrating wit, willingness, and wisdom in all her endeavors. Through her unwavering faith and servant leadership, Whitney Smith continues to create avenues that inspire, challenge, and transform lives in alignment with God's divine plan.
